Port Harbour
Port Harbour is the result of a vision that the Lord gave me while I was a state corrections officer. The purpose is to bring life to men who have experienced death and lived in its continual presence. Most ministries are eager to help while men are incarcerated. Help is needed once they have served their time. The vision is to have homes where we allow time to adjust. Learn life skills and disciplines that are not taught, and to reunite families whenever possible. However, we realize that this will take time and so we are currently trying to build the steps to identify those being released into our area and to coordinate help for them now. Please pray for us as we pursue this vision and the heart of God for these men.
Ports serve for the loading and unloading of cargo and provide the essential infrastructure, facilities and services needed to accomplish this purpose.
Harbours are natural safe havens for vessels where they can moor or anchor, while protecting them from the unpredictability of the body of water.
These men whose we will serve, need a place where they can unload life. Take on what is needed for the rest of their lives and do it in a safe place that protects them in the unpredictability of their situations.
